6.6 8567
The iVend Add-on fails to connect with SAP Business One.
During add-on initialization, the following error is displayed:
Error Code: -1116
Error Message: Unable to end SQL transaction
The issue was observed after restoring the SAP Business One databases in the Test environment.
Log in to SAP Business One using the Manager user account.
Navigate to:
Administration → System Initialization → General Settings → Services
Uncheck the Enable Transaction Notification option.
Enable it again and click Update.
SAP Business One displayed a red status line in the Message Log; however, no specific error message was generated.
Since SAP Business One did not report any detailed error, connect to the SAP HANA Database for further investigation.
Open the Stored Procedures folder for the SAP Business One (SBO) database.
Apply filters to review the stored procedures belonging to:
SBO
iVend
Compare the stored procedures in the Test environment against the corresponding Production databases.
During the comparison, it was identified that several SBO and iVend stored procedures were missing in the Test environment.
The missing stored procedures indicate that the database restoration was incomplete.
Restore the following databases again from a complete and verified backup:
SAP Business One (SBO)
CXSIntegration
After the restoration, verify that all required database objects, including tables, stored procedures, and other dependent objects, are present and synchronized across the following databases:
SAP Business One (SBO)
iVend
CXSIntegration
Once all database objects are verified, reconnect the iVend Add-on and confirm that the issue is resolved.
