Unable to re-initializing the store on store machine and Error message as "Scripts.xml" missing.
Environment:
iVend 6.5 update 6
Problem Statement:
Unable to re-initializing the store on store machine and it showing an error message as "Scripts.xml” missing.
Issue Details:
When generating database backup from MC (HO) then it showing an error message in Management Console log file 'NUMERIC is not a recognized built-in function name' and when restoring the store backup file its showing an error message as "Scripts.xml missing".
Below is the screenshot of the error:
"Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CitiXsys\iVend Retail\ConfigurationManager\Temp\Scripts.xml'.
This error occurs when Head office database is lower then SQL server 2012.
Here is an example that SQL server 2008(100) i.e throwing and error message as 'NUMERIC is not a recognized built-in function name'
Solution:
To solve this problem SQL server database compatibility level should be SQL server 2012(110) or more.
