Referrential guide :Steps to initialize iVend with SAP B1.
Disclaimer:
Re-initialization of an integrated iVend setup is a critical exercise and should be considered only after the recommendations of the expert and must not be practiced without the approval of the Business (especially in the Live environment).
If the situation arises to do so; (if feasible) make sure you have working backups of 3 databases (SAP database, CXSIntegration and iVend HO database) before commencing the exercise.
Steps:
Steps to initialize iVend with SAP B1:
Install iVend HO with new database name
Activate the iVend license
Download the latest patch from Portal.
Install the Addon in SAP B1.
It will create a CXSIntegration database on the same machine where SAPB1 Database is hosted.
It will alter SAPB1 Tables with iVend Addon UDF
Connect the iVend Addon.
Follow the iVend setup wizard, it will be available in the SAP B1 when the iVend Addon is connected, path: - Administration > System Initialization > iVend Retail > iVend Setup Wizard.
Open iVend Configuration Manager and Configure the iVend Integration service with SAPB1, CXSIntegration and iVend HO database.
After all above steps, open Retail Initialization Window in SAP and click on Initialize
