How to Extend the Validity of an Expired Gift Certificate in iVend

The Springs Showroom is experiencing an issue with expired gift vouchers. Although we tried increasing the validity days in the gift voucher settings within iVend, the vouchers still display as expired when attempting redemption.

Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue by importing the updated gift voucher details:

  1. Open the attached file and go to Sheet1.

  2. Fill in the required fields as follows:

    • ProductID: Gift Certificate Number/Code (GC Number/Code)

    • CustomerID: Enter the correct customer ID

    • Final Balance: Ensure the correct final balance is entered

    • Valid Date and Issue Date: Enter accurate dates

    • Customer Code and Store Code: Enter as per the records

    • Final Balance: Leave this field blank (if not applicable)

    • Gift Certificate Status: Leave this field blank

    Note: All required details for Sheet1 are already available in Sheet2 for reference.

  3. Once all the required data is filled in Sheet1, save the file.

  4. In the system, go to the Import functionality.

  5. Select Object Type as "Gift Certificate".

  6. Click OK to complete the import.
