Gift Certificate Import template in iVend MC

Environment:

iVend Version 6.5 Update 6


Problem Statement:

We have gift cards set up with an unlimited expiry (mandatory by law), although it's allowed to book away any remaining GC balance in the GL accounts after x period after initial use. GC for 10 euro ->, currently only 0,05c open.We would like to get this GC to 0 and book this in the GL accounts in SAP B1 accordingly. The last one we can achieve off course with a manual journal entry, but how can we get this GC balance to 0 as well?

Resolution/Work Around:
We recommend that the customer perform the task in iVned MC with the help of the import Data option.


Go to iVend MC and Click on Administration and click on Import Data after that select the excel file and select object type as a gift certificate.

GiftCertificateId     CustomerId  IssueStoreId ValidDate    IssueDate         SerialNumber    RechargeRedeemAmount  FinalBalance

       

Recommendations /Suggestion:

The customer needs to check atleast the import data option for the same with the Gift Certificate Template excel sheet.
