How to delete/hide Gift Certificate from payment screen

Environment:

iVend 6.6

Product Query:

Is there an alternative method to remove a Gift Certificate from iVend?
The delete button is inactive, and the customer wishes to delete the expired/used Gift Certificate due to an excessive number in iVend, which are all displayed in payment transactions. 

Proposed Solution:

There is no option in iVend to delete the GC from front end and also no alternative way to remove this GC in payment screen at POS.
