Scan area not working in SAP inventory transfer

iVend version :

 6.6

Problem Statement: / Query :

In the SAP Inventory Transfer Window we have a field called Scan Area. When we disable item code and description editing in the SAP Form Settings, we are unable to use this Scan Area, and the following error is displayed.

Resolution / work around :

The scan area will work only when these fields (Item No. and Item Description) are enabled.

So, please enable these fields to use the scan area feature.

The field "Scan Area" is not controlled by any SQL procedure. This is a SAP screen requirement: if you want to populate a column through a program, that column must be enabled. If the column is not enabled, the Scan Area will not function.
