Object (-5002): 10000047 – Date deviates from permissible range

Object (-5002): 10000047 – Date deviates from permissible range

Problem Statement:

Getting an error "Object (-5002): 10000047 – Date deviates from the permissible range"  in the iVend integration monitor.

Cause

This error generally occurs on A/R Invoice and A/P Invoice documents, and the most common reason for the same is due date on the document in a posting period being locked.

(By default, a posting period’s due date is set to cover January 1 – December 31 of a calendar year.)

Solution

This can be resolved by updating the Posting period details within SAP Business One.

Path: Main Menu -> Administration -> System Initialization -> Posting Periods

Setting a relevant document due date to the stuck record would fix the issue.
