Integration stopped working between iVend and SAP

Product version:
iVend 6.6


Problem Statement:
A new implementation (iVend to SAP) integration suddenly stopped working.


Symptoms:

Integration was not working. Records are showing in the integration monitor with not processed status from iVend to SAP and SAP to iVend.


Investigation/Observation:

It was observed that integration was working fine, but after some time due to SAP database corruption, customers renamed the SAP database name and then integration stopped working.


Root Cause:
User Error. SAP database (Which was already initialized and mapped with iVend database) name was changed.


Resolution/Workaround:
Support team helped to fix this issue.


Recommendation:
Strongly recommended to not rename the database name, especially in an already running and integrated environment. In case of DB corruption or a scenario like above, contact the support team for right guidance.
