Environment:

iVend 6.6

Problem Statement:

Customer encountered error that says failed to connect to license server. went through the support article and allowed 27000 and 27001 but i am still encountering the same issue.

Proposed solution:

This error usually occurs in case when License Administration Tool and Database server is installed on different servers.
To solve this
1.Need to ensure License Tool installation and License Activation is done with Database Server also License Administration Tool installed with the Database Server.
2.Need to ensure Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FLEXlm License Manager> CITIXSYS_LICENSE_FILE should have Data set as Server Name or IP where License Admin Tool is installed.
