Error "Cannot register loyalty member. The total license for the number of members has exhausted"

Version:

6.5.X and older versions

Issue: 

Customer is not able to create new Loyalty customer from any Point Of Sale (POS) and / or Management Console (MC). Getting error "Cannot register loyalty member. The total license for the number of members has exhausted" while trying the same. Below is the screenshot of the error at POS:

Symptoms: 

Customer exhausted the limit of License of Loyalty Cards hence they disabled / Deactivated few loyalty customers to release few licenses to use those released licenses again. However getting error "Cannot register loyalty member. The total license for the number of members has exhausted." while trying to create new Loyalty customer.

Steps:

Below are the steps to deactivate the existing loyalty customer:
Go to Management Console >> choose Operations >> Loyalty >> Loyalty Card >> Open corresponding Customer >> Uncheck the Active checkbox

Solution: 

Reported issue is resolved in iVend version 6.6 hence it is advised to upgrade the iVend to version 6.6 to get the benefit of this.
And it is recommended to test this scenario in test environment first and then accordingly in Production.
