Issue:
“The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request” occurs while uploading application patches and iVend add-ons via the iVend Management Console. The same error also occurs when downloading files through replication.
Root Cause:
The issue arises because the URL used for upload/download operations (
https://ivendmobilepos.blob.core.windows.net/ivendmobilebackup/
) no longer supports TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 and supports only TLS 1.2.
Impact:
- All environments running below iVend Version 8567 may face issues in uploading or applying iVend add-ons.
- Customers planning to apply patches may face issues, as patching must be performed manually across the entire environment for versions below iVend 8567.
Action Plan:
If it is identified that a customer is running a version below iVend Patch 8567, they should be advised to apply the latest patch as soon as possible to avoid the above issues.
