When attempting to open the Replication Dashboard or start the replication service, the following error is displayed:
Could not load file or assembly 'Owin, Version=1.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=f0ebd12fd5e55cc5'
or one of its dependencies.
The system cannot find the file specified.Step 1 — Verify the Missing DLL
Navigate to the iVend Replication folder on the affected store server:
C:\Program Files (x86)\CitiXsys\iVend\Replication\Check whether Owin.dll exists in this directory. If it is missing, proceed to Step 2.
Also check that the file has not been quarantined by antivirus:
Owin.dllStep 2 — Copy Owin.dll From a Working Store or Installation Source
Obtain the correct Owin.dll from one of the following sources:
Option A — Copy from a working store: Navigate to the same Replication folder path on any other store that is running correctly on the same iVend patch version:
C:\Program Files (x86)\CitiXsys\iVend\Replication\Owin.dllCopy this file to the same location on the affected store.
Option B — Copy from the iVend HO server: The HO server's iVend installation directory also contains this file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\CitiXsys\iVend\HO\Replication\Owin.dll
