Issue Description

Label printing on ZPL supported label printers having issues when using Back mark type media.


(Note: This issue occurred with Zebra ZT231 printer, but this might be applicable to other models of the printers also)

Solution suggested

If the label will be printed to a roll media which has a MAGNETIC BLACK BAR, then you must set the GapLength property of the ThermalLabel object to ZERO and then set the MarkLength property to any value GREATER THAN ZERO.


You must change the value of those properties DEPENDING on the target media type the user has loaded into the printer”


For changing the settings on Label Designer from iVend Management Console -

Management Console > Reports > Designer /Label > Create Label Report > Select the designed Label that you are using and edit it, then check the results.
