Problem statement :

While browsing iVend API service from IIS it was giving the below error.


HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler.

iVend version :

6.6 8864

Symptoms: 

NA

Resolution / work around :

Issue resolved after installing the below WCF services.

- HTTP Activation

- Messsage Queuing (MSMQ) Activation

- Named Pipe Activation

- TCP Activation

- TCP Port Sharing
