Failed to load add on in Offline POS

Environment:

iVend 6.6 with SAP B1 9.3

 

Problem Statement: 

Addon not loading on Offline POS

 

Symptoms: 

Add-on is not loading on offline POS. There is no error on the POS machine.

 

Upon investigation, it was found that the below error message was getting logged in the logfile.

 

<Message>Invalid object name 'cfgpropertycaptionsetup'.</Message>

 
Resolution/Work Around:  

Check whether the table ‘cfgpropertycaptionsetup’ is there in problematic Store/offline DB or not and contains the same rows as per enterprise DB or not?


Look for the entry in table ‘cfgaddon’ and compare it with the enterprise DB.


In this case customer had duplicate entries in cfgaddon table in offline POS DB

After removing the duplicate entries add-on started to work successfully.
