Store/Offline POS restoring error :MicrosoftJODBC SQL Server Drives String data, right truncation
Problem :
After taking an Offline POS backup from the HO (Enterprise Server), an error may occur while restoring the Offline POS backup file during the Offline POS initialization process.
Error : MicrosoftJODBC SQL Server Drives String data, right truncation
The Error Description will be like:

Root cause :
During the patch activity,if offline POS machine configuration file was not replaced as per the current patch version or other as well . As a result, an error occurs while performing offline POS re-initialization.
Resolution โ
To resolve the issue we need to replacing the updated configuration file as the deployed currecnt patch version, then able restored database successfully with our any error and able to log in to the offline POS machine
