Unable to update iVend API Service. Message says "File Not Found"

Problem Statement:

Unable to update iVend API service
Error message: File not found. File Name.

Propose Solution:

1: Go to Windows Start and type ‘Inetmgr’, or type ‘Inetmgr’ at the RUN window. IIS Manager window will open.
2: On the left section, expand the Root Node and then Sites. Right Click on Default Web Site and click on Add Application.

3: Provide the Application Alias name click on ellipsis icon (...)select physical path of ivend API folder and click on OK.

4: Right click on iVendAPI application >> Manage Application>>> Click Advance Settings…

5: On the Advance Settings window select Application Pool iVendAPIPool & Map iVend API folder on physical path.

6: Exit from iVend Configuration Manager.
7: Open iVend configuration Manager with Run as Admin and then try to update API Service.
