Unable to make User defined Field Mandatory for Customer Master

Environment
Ivend 6.6  
 

Symptoms

UDF field (“Gender”) has been created from SAP Business One Application - Under Master Data > Business Partner (with Validation = Valid Value).

UDF field (“Gender”) has been created with uncheck "Mandatory" field from SAP Business One Application and it is integrated successfully to iVend.

Then after when try to make User defined Field Mandatory for Customer Master in ivend Application below error message shown:

"Cannot save list. List not valid. Error - Code/ Id cannot left blank"

 Reason/Cause

This problem occurred as iVend system is integrated to SAP Business One. So Master and other related setting changes will not update from iVend Application.

Resolution/Work Around

To make UDF field Mandatory we need to update from SAP Business One Application not from Ivend Application as system is integrated to SAP Business One.

Steps are below:


> From SAP Business One Application > Tools > Customize Tools > User Defined Field Management > Master Data > Under Business Partner > Select the UDF Field > Click on update > Then check “Set Default Value for Field” option > Then Check Mandatory Feld option

> Click on Update > then press ok After making above mentioned changes then checked item description and prices are integrating successfully from sage x3 to iVend Ho Database.
