Test SMS Failure.

Problem Statement: -

Getting an error message "Unable to connect to the remote server" while doing Test SMS (SMS Integration).
 

Resolution: -

1. One can check the following points: -
2. The iVend API needs to be installed on the source server.
3. Ensure that a Public Static IP is assigned to the iVend API host server.
4. iVend API service should be running.
5. Perform API Health Check at iVend API host server (Administration > IT Administration > API Health Check)
6. Scheduler Service needs to be configured and running on the source server for iVend queries and reports.
7. go to: Administration > System Initialization > Communication Settings and check Messaging Settings.
8. Check the SMS Configuration and for "ClickSend" SMS Gateway Method  should be "http" 
            
         
 
Note: - In case the issue didn't resolve then please contact DEV (Santosh ), you might require the latest dll for the concerned SMS Gateway.
