Store Backup taken from MC is very small and incomplete

Product version:          

iVend 6.5 Update 6 with SAPB1

Problem statement:

INC0014182 While taking the store backup from MC, the backup size being created was incomplete with only 22 bytes as size which is very small.

Proposed Solution/Workaround:

There is need to install SMO components of 2016 and then again try to take the backup from MC and it will take the appropriate backup.
