How to modify the default Quantity of all the products in one go.


Resolution:

  1. The default quantity of the product is defined in the Item Master data setup.

  2. One can use the export and import functionality of iVend to carry out a mass update in this value for the products.


Steps:

  1. Go to Management Console > Administration > Application Setup > Export Data

  2. Select Object Type as  "Product".

  3. Click Ok and in the upcoming screen, select all products and click on OK.

  4. Export all records to the desired location.

  5. Open the excel file and locate the column "DefaultQuantity" and enter the desired value against all the Products.

  6. Save the file.

  7. And use the updated file to Import all the products back in the system using the Import data feature (Management Console > Administration > Application Setup > Import Data ).

  8. On successful Import, you will have an updated default quantity for all products.
