Steps to enable "Retrieve from Server functionality" at the Store server

Environment:

iVend Version: 6.6

Problem Statement:

Steps to enable the "Retrieve from Server functionality"  button at the Store server. (Path : MC > Operations> Inventory > Select and view Product > View Inventory Button)



Or : - Getting below error while using Retrieve from Server functionality at Store Server.
"Inventory Status updated from enterprise server failed"

Proposed solution/workaround:

To use "Retrieve from Server " functionality Transaction Server Search should be enabled at Enterprise Server
Transaction Server Search is a method used to perform a Return, Exchange or Delivery of Sale done at other stores without enabling the InterStoreTransaction.
1. Configure iVend API under iVend Configuration Manager at Enterprise Server.
2. iVend API should be running at the Enterprise Server.
3. Open Enterprise Server  Management Console and choose Administration > System Initialization > Communication Settings.
4. API Server Address need to be mentioned and use below link in API server: -
http://API server IP/iVendAPI/iVendAPI.svc/webapi/



1. choose Administration > System Initialization > Enterprise and look for the Header Transaction Server
2. Checked the checkbox Is Transaction Server Integrated 
3. Transaction Search Type should be Local And Enterprise Server.
4. Maximum Records Count To Return From Server should not be more than 100.
5. Replicate Inter-Store Inventory should be Unchecked.



Next, Perform the API Health check, choose Administration > IT Administration > API Health Check.
