This chapter consists of two units:

1. eLearning presentations on Mobile POS installation, initialisation and configuration
2. Mobile POS articles relevant to features, setup and configuration

Unit 1 (eLearning Video Tutorials):

In the first section, we take a look at Mobile POS Installation, Initialisation and Configuration:

• Installation of the iVend API and API Health Check

• Setup in the Management Console

• Installation on IOS and Android devices

• Setup and Initialisation over the Air

• Initialisation using Database Backup

• Configuring a Wi-Fi Printer and Cash Drawer

• Configuring Air and Bluetooth Printers

Review each eLearning video presentation and then test your knowledge by completing the quiz that you will find at the end of each video.

You should aim to achieve at least 80% (e.g. 4 out of 5 correct answers) before moving on to the next eLearning video. If you get more than one (1) wrong answer in the Mobile POS eLearning quizzes then we recommend reviewing the video tutorial again as we consider anything greater to be a low score and indicates more revision is required.

Complete all the eLearning tutorials in the first section before moving on to the second section on Mobile POS articles.

Unit 2 (Mobile POS Articles):

Read the articles that provide additional supplementary information on iVend Mobile POS:

• Feature comparison — Mobile/Terminal POS

• Connect and Configure Hardware Peripherals

• Enabling Mobile POS Login with Fingerprint Scanner

Then after you have completed reviewing the articles in the second section on Mobile POS, move on to the quiz that you will find on the last page after the articles.

You should aim to achieve at least 80% (e.g. 4 out of 5 correct answers) before moving on to the next chapter. If you get more than one (1) wrong answer then we recommend reviewing the videos and articles again as we consider anything greater to be a low score and indicates more revision is required.
