Serial Number Already Exists while receiving the stock at store
Environment:
iVend Version 6.6 With SAP B1 HANA
Problem Statement:
Customer has informed that stock transfer was made from SAP to iVend for the store, when it comes to receive the transfer, this error appears 'serial number already exists.'
Symptoms:
Stock was showing sold with status=2 and because of user was unable to receive the stock in store after transferring from SAP to iVend.
Resolution/Work Around:
We need to make stock available then only user can receive the stock in store. Using sql statement ‘status’ updated from ‘2’ to ‘0’ and now stock is available to receive in the store.
Recommendations/Suggestion:
Stock should not be sold earlier when you want to receive in the store after transferring from SAP to iVend. Stock should be available then only you receive at store so make sure before receiving the stock, should be available.
