Scheduled EOD
Introduction
The Store Master in Management console is updated with a selection checkbox for "Do Automatic EndOfDay" and set "Automatic EndofDay Time". Setting these parameters will schedule the EndofDay process without having a store manager to manually complete it. Prior to this update the store manager used to manually finalize individual tills and then perform EndofDay.
Benefit:
At store EndofDay can be performed automatically at a predefined time and manager intervention to finalize till is not required.
Configurations
The following are the configurations for setting up EndofDay
Step 1. Go to Management console>Administration> Store
Step 2. On store configuration screen scroll down on the page and set the following two options
Do Automatic EndofDay - Select the checkbox. This will trigger the EndofDay event.
Automatic EndofDayTime- Select the desired time of the day when the EndofDay event is required to be triggered.
