Not able to sell Items with Zero or negative quantity At POS
iVend has the facility to complete a sale with 0 inventory as well. "Allow Negative Inventory" option need to be enabled at the Enterprise for same,
So to assist on such a concern below points are checked:
Step 1 : Open Enterprises MC and Go to Enterprises Settings-> Check the status of check Box Allow negative Inventory.
Step 2 : GO To Warehouse ( attached to the concerned store at which 0 inventory item cannot be sold) and Check the state of Allow negative Inventory Check Box there.
In case the setting is found to be selected at HO/Enterprise but not selected at the warehouse then it is causing the reported concern.
Basically, this setting drives the store to sell /not sell 0 inventory items.
In case you wish this store to sell negative inventory item, then this check box (Allow negative Inventory ) need to be selected for attached warehouse.
** If the concern is raised in an unplugged iVend environment, then you can update the warehouse record as per need. But if the issue is faced in an integrated iVend environment then the warehouse information is not editable in iVend ( as this is inherited from ERP).
So to fix it, you can edit the setting Allow negative Inventory ( unselect and select the setting ) at iVend enterprise once and save the results. This will replicate the updated details to all stores and the Allow negative Inventory setting at all the warehouses will get updated and this will fix the issue
