Promotion and coupon not applicable in iVend POS Transaction Screen.

Environment:

iVend 6.6 with SAPB1 9.2

Problem statement:

User was not able to apply the promotion and coupon button inactive in iVend POS Transaction Screen.

Symptoms:

User was not able to apply the promotion and coupon button inactive in iVend POS Transaction Screen.

Resolution/Work Around:

User was assigned to new role in iVend HO MC Security Roles where he was not assigned to full rights on promotions & coupons under pricing & promotions menu option. Suggest to restart the iVend POS by clearing Transaction.txt and iVend POS log file.

Recommendations/Suggestion:

It is based on Security roles & users so rights should be assigned as per business requirement.
