Production and Test HANA Databases on same server for Ivend Version 6.5.6 and 6.6

Environment:

iVend 6.6 With SAP B1 HANA

Problem Statement:

Customer upgrading iVend to 6.6. They are currently running iVend 6.5.6 integrated to SAP HANA. Customer wants the SAP HANA server will host both the production AND the test SAP HANA databases.

Symptoms:

SAP HANA server hosts both the production and the test SAP HANA databases for iVend version 6.5.6 and 6.6.

Resolution/Work Around:

1. If we want to setup the test environment on same server where production setup exists, with same iVend version only we can do the test setup. On same server we cannot have two different ivend versions 6.5.6 and 6.6 and will have only one CXSINTEGRATION database.
2. For same ivend version for test environment we need to restore SAP Database with different name, HO database with different name. CXSIntegration database remain the same for production and test environments, only you need to update the mapping in tables 'IntegrationMapping' and 'RepIntegrationLog' to insert DBName column with (SAPTESTDATABASE).

Recommendations/Suggestion:

Two different iVend versions not possible on same machine.
