Product Category Promotion not working on POS.

Problem statement

I have configured Bonus in the Setup Window Buys Buy Side “Product Category” Get Side 15% Discount from different “Product Category”. However, when scanning the one product from Buy Side and other from Get Side system not applying Promotion, Check below image from the promotion setup.

 Environment                                                                                                                                                                                         iVend Retail 6.6 7989 & SAP Business One 9.3                                          

Symptoms

Promotion was not applying because of Configuration; in such configuration we need to scan product from Get Side all product category.

Resolution/Work Around

Issue resolved after suggesting to uncheck “Is Mandatory” Check box from Get Products and enter value 1 in “Get Optional Count”, Check below image for the solution.

Recommendations /Suggestion

If you check “Is Mandatory” Get Product side, then you need to scan product from all the Get Side configuration.
