Payment Processor is not initialized properly Error showing during POS opening
Environment:
iVend 6.6.8929
Problem Statement:
Customer was facing an error "Payment Processor Not Initialized" with a payment processor. Getting below attached error.
Symptom:
We checked the log file and found below error:
<Message>The port 'COM4' does not exist.</Message>
In Device Manager we check Port (COM & LPT) and found that Pin pad is configured on "COM3"
Solution:
Troubleshooting Steps followed:
1. Check the cable of Pin pad machine is connected properly, reinsert the cable and then check.
2. Open the Device manager and check the Port (COM & LPT).
3. Configured the pin pad on COM4 as we found in log file.
After configuring the pin pad on COM4 port, restart the POS and now payment processor reinitialized successfully.
