Resolution/Work Around

Below are some scenarios where card payment can be partial.

1) Prepaid Card

A prepaid card is a card you can use to pay for things. You buy a card with money loaded on it. Then you can use the card to spend up to that amount. A prepaid card is also called a prepaid debit card, or a stored-value card. You can buy prepaid cards at many stores and online. This is noticed that when a customer will purchase any product from POS, the maximum amount loaded on the card will be visible for sale.

2) Debit Card

A Debit Card is a plastic currency or plastic money. You can use it to buy things when you don't have cash. Typically, the banks issue a Debit Card to Savings Account holders, and it is linked to your account. All transactions made through your Debit Card are reflected in your bank account statement. This is noticed that when a customer will purchase any product from POS, the maximum amount in the debit card account/Authorized for POS transaction will be visible for sale.

3) Gift Card

A Gift Card looks and works like a Debit Card, but it is preloaded with a certain amount of money by the one who gives it. The receiver of the Gift Card can then spend the prepaid amount on a number of electronic payment purchases made online or in retail shops. Branded Gift Cards are gift cards issued by different brands across categories such as jewelry, travel & hospitality, food, entertainment, and electronics etc. This is noticed that when a customer will purchase any product from POS, the maximum amount loaded on the card will be visible for sale.

4) Credit Card

A credit card is a payment card issued to users (cardholders) to enable the cardholder to pay a merchant for goods and services based on the cardholder's accrued debt (i.e., promise to the card issuer to pay them for the amounts plus the other agreed charges). This is noticed that when a customer purchases any product from POS, the maximum amount left in credit limit on debit card account/Authorized for POS transaction will be visible for sale.

Note: The behavior of card transactions can be different based on legal changes and regions.
