Notification not generating from Store if notification type is Query.

Environment:

iVend 6.6 with SAP B1

Problem statement:

Notification not generating from Store if notification type is Query. 


Resolution/Work Around:


Idea
The notifications are sent within the application user interface and can be accessed both in the Management Console as well as on the POS terminal.
In case you are using Enterprise Scheduler service. Then you need to uncheck the checkbox "Use Store Scheduler Service". This checkbox should be checked only when the store scheduler service has to be used for processing the Alert notification.
Alert
The Alert Notification (Query type) is designed to work only from the Head Office (HO).
For Alert Notification Setup where Type = Query, the configuration does not support the setting “Use Store Scheduler Service” on the Store Setup screen,  As a result, notifications will not be generated from the store.
