Issue: 

Not able to login to Point of Sale (POS), getting an error ("Error encountered in application") while trying, below is the screenshot for the same:

Resolution: 

We checked the POS log file and we found the below error:

<Message>Access to the path 'C:\PROGRAMDATA\CITIXSYS AMERICAS, INC\CITIXSYS - IVEND RETAIL POS\6.6.7989.24759\IVENDADDON\EPAY\6.6.0.13\ErrorLog-20220529.txt' is denied.</Message>
<ExceptionInfo>

It seems access related error so to resolve this issue, go to the below path and check the full rights are given on the folder "iVendAddOn":
C:\PROGRAMDATA\CITIXSYS AMERICAS, INC\CITIXSYS - IVEND RETAIL POS\6.6.7989.24759

If not, then give the full rights on this folder to resolve the issue.
