Not able to install iVend on a store server(version 6.6 update 6)

Problem Statement: -

Not able to install iVend on a store server it shows an error about SQL credentials.

Even after all the sql credentials is correctly entered (error shown in below image)


 Proposed Solution:-

 

  1. Make sure the Database user has admin rights.


 

  1. Make sure that status of the user is enabled or not if not make it enabled.

 

3. Also while installing iVend rather than choosing Local in Database server column try using Machine name and Ip address

4. Try to create new DB in sql with same credentials and retried the installation
