New users Not able to use POS - Object reference not set to an Instance of an Object ERROR
Environment:
iVend 6.5.6 Patch 2
Problem Description:
Newly created user were getting error while logging at POS
Scenario:
An existing user can access POS and do Sales in full on POS Machine.
Existing user logs out of POS and new user Logs in to the POS application and gets the Instance of an object error When using the POS. There are 3 users with the same issue. All 3 of them are new users.
Solution:
It was reported that the issue is happening only for the newly created users, so the License count was checked .
It was found that there were more users in the system than the allowed licenses. And it was causing the error. Excess users were removed and after that issue was resolved.
