The warehouse is owned by the company and the day to day functioning of the warehouse is also operated by the company.

In this case stock responsibility lies with the company and stock will be sold as per the company policies. Along with these the generic sales, bonus buys definitions, discounts etc will be defined and activated across the stores based on policies defined on Global level.

All processes will be managed by company for example:

1. Purchase

2. Sales

3. Transfer between stores

4. Financials

Note: In this Type of warehouse, sales & inventory data will integrate with ERP

2.Company Owned Distributor Operated

The warehouse is owned by the company and the day to day functioning is operated by the distributor for this particular type of Store. As per the agreed terms Company leases the operations of the business to the franchisee / Distributor. The Company holds the rights to renew the lease terms with the distributor.

In this case the stock responsibility lies with the distributor however for Sales, company policy will be applicable. Stock will be sold as per the company policies like Generic Sales, bonus buys definitions, discounts etc will be defined and activated all across.

In this Type of warehouse , the distributor will get commission based on the total sales.

Distributor facilitates the operational staff in this process. In this type of warehouse the processes are distributed amongst the Company and the Distributor as mentioned below:

Initial training of staff, initial store setup is done by the Company and handed over to the distributor to run the operations and maintain standards as per SOPs set by the Company.

In this case all stock responsibility lies with the distributor, it's a kind of sale(Customer) and purchase(Vendor) operation between both the entities. Stock will be sold to the end customer as per the distributor policies like generic sales bonus buys definition, discounts, etc.
