Problem statement
iVend Price issue on POS.At the time search the product and change the price manually and increase the quantity for the product it reverts to base price.
Proposed solution
This issue can be resolved by apply the latest patch.
Issue is only reported on dated version iVend ver. 6.5 Update 6 and is not noticed on the latest branch of iVend release available for the production use.
Steps
Below are the steps you require to follow for apply patch.
If customer have applied both the patches i.e. Patch 1 & Patch 2. Provide the latest patch from Code repository.
Steps for Apply Patch
1. Open Zipped Files folder, having zipped files for MC, POS and DB to Deploy
2. Open the iVend Management Console and go to: Administration > IT Administration > Application Patches.
3. Click the [New] button from the Application Patches Search Screen .
4. Click the [Add Patch] button. Upload the Zipped patch file through Path selection.
5. Select the applications (POS, Management Console) based on the Patch file type .
6. Click on the [OK] button. Now, wait for the Replication to retrieve all the events replicated to the store. Then restart the Management Console and Point of Sale.
7. The Application will show the Alert of the Patch Update Pending window with information about the update and asking for confirmation for the Patch update to be committed (started).
8. Click on the [Ok] button. The CXS Patch Updater window will be displayed, showing the Patch Information.
