iVend Loyalty integration in iVend Digital Commerce


iVend Loyalty is a points and rewards application, designed to enhance the opportunities to win new customers and retain existing customers. iVend Loyalty forms an integral part of the iVend Retail solution, which is fully integrated and packaged with the iVend Enterprise.


Note: Loyalty is configurable in iVend Magento via the iVend Connection Manager. The user needs to install Loyalty Extension for Magento in Magento and enable Loyalty in iVend Retail via the iVend Management Console, to configure Loyalty in iVend Magento.

The following is the field description to configure iVend settings:

Field

Description

Loyalty Enabled

Select this checkbox if loyalty is enabled in iVend Retail.

Loyalty Payment

Select the Loyalty Payment option from drop down menu. Loyalty Extension for Magento must be configured before updating the settings.

Default Loyalty Program

Select the Loyalty Program to which Magento loyalty customers will integrate in iVend Retail.

 

 

 

 

Loyalty Reward Points


The Loyalty Program configured in iVend Retail is mapped to the Loyalty Reward Points in Magento. The Configuration for the Loyalty Rewards Points in Magento is done at following location with administrator login: Store à Configuration à MEGAWORX à Reward Point à Main settings Page. On this Page, the following are the configurations:

 

  1. Set Enable to Yes

  2. Cover with the Points- Subtotal /Shipping /Tax

  3. Point Exchange Rate – 1

  4. Award Custom Points to Yes

 

Note: Point Exchange Rate, as shown in the image below, is the cost of one reward point in Website Base Currency.

Magento Rules for reward points are defined in Magento. Login to Magento as Administrator and browse to the following location to open Cart Price Rules:  Marketing à MageWorx Reward Points.

Here, you can find the summary of the accumulated Loyalty Points in Magento.

 

Loyalty points accumulation and redemption is configurable in Magento via third-party Extension, called MageWorx – Reward Points extension for Magento.  The accumulation of the points is driven from the POS / Store and not from Magento. The points will only get accumulated when the payment is made (realized in iVend) or the products are delivered, whichever occurs earlier. The same reward points can be viewed in iVend Management Console -> Customer -> Loyalty points.
