Import Serial Coupons

Enhancement has been done on the Import data screen by adding “CouponSerialNumber” to object type. This will facilitate import of valid range of serial numbers created from another system to be issued by serial number from the POS. An excel file containing the coupon id and serial number can be imported from the import data screen.

Benefit:

Users will be able to import valid serial number for coupons created on another system.

Configuration:

Step 1. Log into the iVend Management Console and navigate to: Administration > Application Setup > Import Data – the Data Import Configuration window should come up.

 Step 2. On the Data Import Configuration screen “excel file path” click on the […] and navigate to the location where the excel file sits.

Note: The file must contain 2 Columns “Coupon ID” and “Serial Number” storing the relevant valid Coupon id with corresponding serial number.

Step 3. Select the sheet containing the data.

Step 4. From the Object Type select “CouponSerialNumbers”

Step 5. Check the checkbox for File has header.

Step 6. Click on Ok button to import the file.
