Problem statement :
How to use Transaction Server Search at the POS?
Proposed solution/workaround:
Transaction Server Search is a method used to perform a Return, Exchange or Delivery of Sale done at other stores without enabling the InterStoreTransaction. Detailed article for configuring Transaction server is available at below link:
Transaction Server Search will need to have iVend API installed across the environment, at Stores and HO. Also, need a License to use Transaction Server Search functionality.
Few additional check points steps are listed below that need to be reviewed if the functionality does not work.
Ensure to configure iVend API Configuration under iVend Configuration Manager.
Also, need to ensure shared below points are fulfilled to make it work.
Pass the API Server Address under System Initialization > Communication Setting with the HO Management Console.
API Server Address need to be mentioned with all of the Store Configuration on the HO Management Console.
Ensure we are able to perform API Health Check with passing API Server Address on the HO Management Console.
Constraints / scenarios: N.A
Transaction Server Search can be configured with Local and Local + Enterprise Search type.
Local Search will allow Transaction Search at POS to pull transaction from Store/Local Database only and will have a separate Transaction Server Search button to perform Enterprise Transaction Search from HO Database.
Local + Enterprise Search type will enable to perform Local and Enterprise Database Transactions Search through single Transaction Search button.
