Say, 300 to 500 product images at a time?

You can you iVend's Export and Import feature to carry out mass updates for the product(s).
The option is to export all your current products (or any other required masters) to Excel.
Edit this exported file and add the image path location in the column called "ImageLocation" (or any other required column).
Save the file and Import it back into iVend using the object type Product.
This will then import the images (or any other updated column) to the database.
Path for Export >> MC >> choose Administration > Application Setup > Export Data
