Goods Return Integration Failure
Environment :
iVend 6.6.8929
with SAP B1
Problem Statement :
A Goods Return
document failed during integration with the following error message:
System.Exception: DI:10000104 - In "Posting Date" field,
enter a posting date that is equal to or earlier than the system date
at ReplicationSBOIntegrationWinSer.IntegrationObjects.GoodsReturn.Replicate(Direction
From, Direction To, Int32 DatasetRowID)
at ReplicationSBOIntegrationWinSer.Integrator.MainStart(DateTime LastRetryAt,
Boolean Retried)
Symptoms :
The user created a Goods Return document through the Management Console
and selected a future return date (for example, a date two months ahead of the
current system date).
Cause :
The return date specified in the Goods Return document was set to a
future date, which is not permitted based on the current SAP B1 document
settings.
Resolution/Workaround :
The issue was
verified with the QA team, and it was confirmed that the integration functions
correctly after enabling the following SAP B1 setting:
ยท Document Setting: Allow Future Posting Date
Once the Allow Future Posting Date option is
enabled in SAP B1, Goods Return documents with future return dates are
integrated successfully without any further issues.
