Getting an error "System.Exception: DI:10001287 - Item cost not found for one or more items"
Problem:
Getting an error “System.Exception: DI:10001287 - Item cost not found for one or more items” during Integration of sale transaction from iVend to SAP
Cause:
This error occurs when the Item cost is not defined in SBO for one or more items that are included in the transaction. According to your company’s configuration, you cannot release goods that have no defined item cost.
Procedure:
Open SAP
Go to Main Menu >> choose Inventory >> Item Master Data
In Find mode, in the Item Number field, enter the item number and then choose the Find button.
In the Item Master Data window, on the Inventory Data tab, look for the column item cost.
If the item cost is not defined, go to Inventory >> Inventory Transaction >> Inventory Revaluation and define the item cost.
OR in case you don’t want to define item cost, then go to Administration menu >> system initialization >> company details >> Basis initialization and Please tick on option “Allow stock release without item cost”
Next, click Update button to save that setting.
Retry the event from iVend Integration Failure Monitor.
