The Fixed Price promotion feature enables you to define a fixed price for a product that you could offer to the customer in a sale transaction.

For example: “Buy one item and then Get an item at a Fixed Price”

In another example, you could offer a special price of say $5 for a bicycle helmet, which might represent a significant discount off the normal price for any customer that purchases a bicycle.

1. Buy “X” product and get “Y” product at a fixed price.

2. Buy “N” quantity of “X” product at a fixed price.

3. Buy any “N” products from a product category or product group and get a fixed price product from a product category or product group.

To setup a Fixed Price promotion, follow these steps:

1. Log into the iVend Retail Management Console. Go to: Operations > Pricing and Promotions > Bonus Buys

2. In Bonus Buys Search window, Press [F3 New].

3. In the Bonus Buys window, provide a relevant Code and Description.

4. In the Promotion Type field drop-down, the options are Bonus Buys or Fixed Price – Select Fixed Price

5. Specify all the other details as required on the main promotion configuration screen and then select the [Setup] button.

6. On the Setup screen displayed, select the [Add Buy Item] button.

7. In Product Type field, select the required value - Product, Product Group, Product Category or All.

8. You can enter the values in either the Quantity or Amount fields

9. In the Get Item at a Fixed Price field, enter the price of the product that you wish to offer for the Fixed Price Promotion.

10. Select the [Add Get Item] button.

11. Enter the data in the Product Type, Value, UoM and Quantity fields as required – refer to the following screen image as an example.

12. Choose [Ok] to save the values in the Bonus Buy Setup.

13. Choose Applicable button to add the Store(s) for which you wish to run the Fixed Price promotion for.

14. Choose [Ok] to save all the changes made in the Fixed Price Promotional Bonus Buy

15. Select [Yes] in the prompt window to confirm saving your changes.

16. The new Fixed Price promotion now appears in the Bonus Buys Search window.

To use Fixed Price promotion at the POS, follow these steps:

1. On the main POS transaction screen, scan in the Buy product that we setup in the above example.

2. Now scan in the Get product

3. The Fixed Price promotion will be automatically applied at the POS.

4. The transaction can now be completed by processing the payment - Press [F12 Payments] or [F11 Quick Complete Cash] and process the payment in the normal manner.
