Error occurred while opening iVend Pos Application
Environment
iVend 6.6
Symptoms
While try to open iVend Pos Application in Test Machine below error message shown:
An error has occurred in the application all errors have been logged. Please contact your system administrator. the application will now close.
Resolution/Work Around
Checked Pos log file below error message shown:
Fatal error 'The format of the initialization string does not confirm to the specification starting at index'
Perform mention below steps:
> Remove system temp file and pos log file
> Then Update ivend connection manager
> Start Pos Application run as administrator
> Now Pos Application opening and login successfully without any error
> Now Pos Application opening and login successfully without any error
