iVend Retail Mobile Point of Sale (POS) supports the finger print scanner feature, providing a more secure function for business operations.

Using this feature, the user can add more security to iVend Retail Mobile POS.

The following represents the prerequisites for this feature:

· The device must be running the supported version of OS.

· The device on which the iVend Retail Management Console is running, must also have the Finger Print Scanner function setup and enabled.

The following are the steps required to setup the finger print scanner on iOS devices:

1. In the Apple device, go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.

2. Enable the iPad Unlock under USE TOUCH ID FOR section. It will ask you to set up a password if it is not already configured.

3. Now open iVend Retail Mobile POS and tap on Setup at the bottom-right corner in the Login screen.

4. Tap on Configuration.

5. Tap to enable the Touch ID Configuration feature under the Transaction section. This will open the Touch ID Configuration screen.

6. Enter the user name and password in the respective fields. Use the iVend Retail Mobile POS user name and password for the Touch ID Configuration.

7. Tap on Save.
