Duplicate POS/MC/Hardware ID

Environment: 

iVend 6.6

Problem statement:   

Duplicate POS

Symptoms:

Upon copying the POS folder from one POS(say POS A) to another POS(SAY POS B). Users were unable to login to POS B. However, users of POS A were able to login into POS B

Resolution:

It was found that the Hardware ID of both POS was same. After changing the hardware ID of one POS user was able to log in successfully.
Steps to change Hardware ID:
1)Download utilities.zip folder from FTP site.
2)Unzip the folder and copy  volumeid.exe in the c: drive of the pos system
3)Go to the command prompt.
4)see the volume id of the system by running the command "DIR" from the command prompt.
5)Go to the root directory i,e c:

6)run the below query from the root directory of the command prompt to change the volume id of the system
Volumeid.exe c: enter newvoulmeid(change one digit of the actual volume id)
Example :  C:volumeid.exe c: 648C-46dC
