Customer want to disable change items description over POS screen while make sales transaction

Environment:

iVend 6.6 8567

Problem Statement:

Customer want to disable change items description over POS screen  while make sales transaction

Proposed Solution:

As of now no such parameter in iVend to disable change items description over  POS screen while make sales transaction.
However as a workarounds it can be  enable 'Manager Override required' option for "Item Information Edit" in Retail Profile in Management Console, so that whenever the cashier tries to change any value/description in Item Edit screen, it will ask for Manager login
