iVend Retail 6.5 Extensibility Training Kit

iVend Extensibility Training Kit is a comprehensive 5-day training program targeted for developers looking to incorporate additional business logic, screens etc. in iVend Retail. The Training Kit has been specially designed to focus on extensibility through the use of add-on applications, receipt customization, and web APIs.

Attendees will gain practical hands on experience to develop after completion of hands-on labs.

1. Describe the features, benefits, components of add-on development
2. Use the add-on development framework to customize the application to suite business processes
3. Design, develop, and run custom add-ons
4. Use iVend Retail Web APIs to integrate with third party software
5. Use the Report Designer to generate custom reports as per business needs
6. Create, package, and apply version control to the Add-On application

Day 1 – Add-On Application Development

iVend Retail Add-on framework is used for extending GUI, writing Custom Business Logic and enhance application functionality. The extended business logic is deployed as an add-on application centrally at the Enterprise (HO) which then gets automatically replicated to entire Retail Landscape.

Multiple add-ons can be run in parallel and can be prioritized on specific iVend Retail stores.

iVend Retail Add-on allows to extend business logic on the Management Console and the Terminal POS only.
